Wave, Thursday, May 6, 1965 Retired Farmer Dies at Age of 92 Abraham T. Eash, 92, retired farmer of route 2, Alto, passed away Friday at his home in Bowne township, Kent county, while burning brush. A native of LaGrange county, Indiana, he married Polly Mishler of Bowne Center, February 25, 1807 and they lived in Indiana a year before moving to their parents farm home. Mrs. Eash passed away July 10, 1962. Surviving are five sons; Otto of Hayward, Calif.; Owen of Oakland, Calif.; John of Oxnard, Calif.; Alden of Greensboro, Md.; and Clare of Clarksville; four daughters, Mrs. William (Lee) Schultz of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Keith (Jane) Daniels of Hesperia, Mrs. V.L. (Ann) Wolcott of Gun Lake and Mrs. Floyd (Helen) Burkey of Hastings; two brothers, Walter of Flannigan, Ill., and Emanuel of Eureka, Ill.; 25 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 at Hope Church of the Brethren, west of Lake Odessa, with burial in the Mennonite cemetery, Bowne township, Rev. Conrad Snavely officiated. Mr. Eash reposed at the Leonard-Osgood funeral home at Hastings until Tuesday noon.
