Funeral services were held Monday at one p.m. for William Easterday, age 89, 
at Myers Funeral Home, who died at City Hospital at National City, Calif., 
where he planned to spend the winter months.

He was born Sept. 10. 1875 in Ionia.  He attended school near Crystal and 
lived in the Palo area a number of years.  His wife Etta preceded him in death 
March 27, 1940.

Mr. Easterday was a life member of Palo Oddfellow Lodge, whose members had 
charge of the funeral services.  Burial was in the family lot in the Palo 
cemetery.

He is survived by one brother, George of Ionia, a cousin in Calif. who 
accompanied the body to Ionia.
