The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, November 16, 1967


Funeral services for George M. Easterday, who died Monday were Wednesday with 
Rev. Chester J. Erickson, of Zion Evangelical United Brethren church 
officiating.  Burial was in Palo cemetery.

Bearers were Orson Coe, James Hayden, Roy Horrocks, C. L. Teachworth, George 
Schalppi and Frank Mercado.

Attending from out of two were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Zerba and Mrs. Jay Bloss 
of Perrinton; Mr. and Mrs. Sam Wilson of Wolcottville, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. Fay 
W. Hart, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Jess Morrison, Mr. and Mrs. James Rice and family 
and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith of Sturgis; Mrs. Harry Castleman, Mrs. Edwin 
Sarkisian, Mrs. Blanche Walters of Mishawaka, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. Hershell 
Shute of Crystal; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Johnson of Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Cal 
Wingeier, Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Van Nornum, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Martin, Mr. and 
Mrs. Don H. Fancett of Palo and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ford of Nashville.
