The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 22, 1955


Funeral services for Mrs. Mable E. Easterday were held Saturday afternoon at 2 
o’clock at the Myers funeral home with the Rev. Glenn McCarty and Rev. Heath 
Goodwin officiating.  Interment was at Palo cemetery.  Pallbearers were Roy 
Johnson, Guy Comstock, Ralph Safford, Walter Clark, Lewis Herrick and Lee 
Sloan.  Mr. and Mrs. George Schlappi had charge of the flowers.

Those attending from out of town were Mrs. Lillie Converse, Mrs. Beulah Myers, 
and Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Myers of Alma; Mr. and Mrs. Burton Boardman of 
Cincinnati, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. James Mertens of Greenville; Mr. and Mrs. Earl 
Casebere and family and Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Stickley of Butler, Indiana; Mr. 
and Mrs. Roy Johnson of Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bailey and Mrs. Myrtle 
Bills of Crystal; Mr. and Mrs. Jay Bloss of Perrinton; Mr. and Mrs. Russell 
Young of Middleton; Mr. and Mrs. Gail Jewell of Muskegon; Miss Lillian and 
Gloria Shinabarger of Grand Rapids; and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Engbloom of Muir.
