Sentinel-Standard - Monday Dec. 1, 1947

Wanda Lou Eaton, six months' old baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Eaton of 
633 Bayard street, died suddenly around 3:39 p.m. Sunday, a scant two hours 
after she was admitted to the Ionia County Memorial hospital for a meningitis 
infection. 

She was born May 23, 1947, and is survived by her parents, two brothers, Keith 
and David; one sister, Mary Lou, and her grandmother, Mrs. Oma Wagner, of 
Fowler. 

Private prayer services were held rom the Myers funeral home Monday afternoon 
at 3 o'clock, with the Rev. A. J. Westmass officiating. Interment was in Balcom 
cemetery.
