Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thurs, May 9, 1963
Mrs. Nellie Eaves, 88, of Palo died Tuesday evening at Christensen convalescent
home at Trufant. 

She was born August 28, 1874 in Evergreen township, Montcalm county, and was
married to John Eaves who died in 1946.

Mrs. Eaves was a member of Rebekah lodge at Palo.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Irene Steenee of Miami, Fla., and a
brother-in-law, Floyd Furgerson of Lake.

Funeral service will be at Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan Friday at 2 p.m.
with interment at Palo cemetery.  Graveside service will be conducted by the
Rebekah lodge.  Officiating will be the Rev. Lewis Herrick.

Bearers will be Ray North, Bert Thomas, Leo Litchfiled, Robert Petersen, Percy
Granger and Stanley Bradish.
