Eavey, last charter member of Ronald Grange, died at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Fred D. Keister, Jr., Saturday evening, March 3, after a month of illness. Mrs. Eavey was 82 years old. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Moshier, who were among the earliest Ronald township pioneers. In 1869 she was united in marriage with Samuel Eavey. Mr. Eavey died in 1929 and their three children, Cecil, Kitty and Earl, all died several years ago. Remaining relatives are a sister, Mrs. William Bennet, Muir; a brother, Wallace Moshier, of Ronald; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. C. S. Eavey of Lansing and the granddaughter, Mrs. Fred D. Keister Jr., with whom Mrs. Eavey had made her home for several years. Rev. Paul L. Stewart conducted the funeral services which were held from the Keister home, 728 Branch street, Tuesday afternoon, at 1:30, and from the Palo Baptist church at 2:30, where music was by Mrs. George Tasker and Mrs. Clark Reimer.
