Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 27 & 29 Sep 1923

The funeral service for Phillip Eckert will be held from the late home in
Orleans Township Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock, city time.  Rev. M. Mohr will
officiate and burial will take place in the Highland Park cemetery.

The funeral service for Philip Eckert was largely attended from the late home in
Orleans Township Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Rev. B. Mohr of the
Evangelical church officiated.  The music was furnished by Mrs. O. Schmidt and
Clare Whaley.  The bearers were Charles Peterson, John Seidelman, Zala Howe, and
O. Harrington.  The burial took place in the family lot at Highland Park cemetery.
