Sentinel-Std. - Saturday, Sept. 24, 1957

Funeral services for Raymond G. Eckert, 54, of East Main street, Ionia, who 
died at the Ionia County Memorial hospital Wednesday morning, were conducted at 
the Myers funeral home Friday at  2 o'clock by the Rev. Heath Goodwin. Burial 
was in Tuttle cemetery.

Bearers were Keith Rhoades, Robert Moffitt, Harold Houck, Ed. Duff, Richard 
Boss, Clarence Ammon.

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Houck, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence 
Ammon and children, Harold Houck, the Misses Nina and Hazel Rinkle and Clara 
and Eva Hoffman, Mrs. Clara Burnette Mr. and Mrs. G.H. Ecker, Mr. and Mrs. C.L. 
Buffington, Mrs. Minnie Hayes and Mrs. Frank Glossie of Lansing.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Eckert and Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Duff and children of Holt. 
Mr. and Mrs. Keith L. Rhoades, Mrs. Edna Hendrick, Mr. and Ms. Frank Marsh and 
Mrs. Ila Arthur, Grand Rapids: Mr. and Mrs. Robert Moffitt, Alexandria, Va.:Mr. 
and Mrs. John Hall, Grant: Mr. and Mrs. Leon Peets, Caledonia, Mr. and Mrs. 
James Flewelling of Flint, Mrs. Bernice Rivard, St. Johns; Mr. and Mrs. L. Al 
Yea of Holland; Mrs. Hattie Skinner, Saranac; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lake, Muir and
