Ionia Sentinel Standard, 10 Oct 1942

John Eckert, a former Ionian now living in Flint, died Saturday morning in a
Flint hospital where he had been confined for the past month, seriously ill.

Funeral services, though not complete, will be held Wednesday in Flint and
burial will be in Highland Park cemetery, Ionia.
