Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 2 Apr 1963

Funeral service was conducted at North Plains Community church Monday at 2 p.m. 
for L. H. Eckley, 75, of Westbrook road, who died Wednesday at Plant City, 
Fla.  The Rev. John B. Kerr officiated and interment was at North Plains 
cemetery.  Organist was Mrs. Lawrence Albright.  Bearers were Joe Wolthuis, 
Carl Higgins, Glen Nemetz, Lem Hartman, Holden Cook and Frank Soper.

Out of town relatives attending were Orrie Eckley, Mrs. Elsie Mudge, Mr. and 
Mrs. Jim Hiscock, Mrs. Dessie Crawford, Mildred Stone and Mr. and Mrs. Ora Huff 
of Flint; Mr. and Mrs. Francis Keener, Mrs. Zillah Hill, John Hill and Virgil 
Keener of Holly; Mrs. Mable Eckley Allen of Lansing, Charles Eckley of Grand 
Ledge, Mr. and Mrs. George Fortune of Brockport, N.Y., Jack Fortune of Albion, 
N.Y., Mrs. Vina Dalzell, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Cutler, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas 
Eckley, Ruth Ann Eckley, Linda, Terry and Doris Eckley of Lyons.

Mr. and Mrs. John Eckley of Greenville, Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord DeBoer of 
Rockford, A-2c Walter Eckley of Chanute Air Force Base, Ill., Mr. and Mrs.
