ROGER LEROY ECKLEY

Died Wednesday, March 18, 2026-age 84 of Muir.
Born March 29, 1941 in Ionia, son of Howard & Anna (Warden) Eckley.
Married Mary Spencer on February 13, 1965.
He was an avid wood carver & a jack of all trades.
Roger enjoyed riding motorcycles & quads & spending time at Hardy Dam.
Survived by his children, Tammy (Bill) Clements, Sherry (Craig) Rohn, Roger 
(Nichole) Eckley, James Eckley(Cynthia Chapin) honorary son & daughter, Duc Le & 
Thu Nguyrn, brother-in-law, Billy(Lil) Spencer, sister-in-law, Nancy Moore,
grandchildren; Nicole (Chris) White, Curtis (Jess) Osborne, Shanna Eckley, Jason 
(Erika)Eckley, Leslie Mayo, Zack (Grace) Eckley, Andrew Eckley, Scarlette 
Eckley, Trammie Le (Claudiu) Casianov & Bevin Le, Travis (Elsie)Rohn, Kyle 
Rohn(Crystal Waters), many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, Texas family & 
family dog, Buddy.
Preceded in death by his parents, Howard & Anna Eckley, siblings Joyce (Gaylord) 
DeBoer, Stanley Eckley, Walter & Wanda Eckley, brother-in-law Bobby Spencer, 
Dorothy & Ron Fletcher, Don Moore, niece, BobbieMoore, special friends, Merrill 
& Dorothy Payment & many Texas friends.
A Memorial Service will be  held at 11AM Saturday, March 21, at Restore Church 
in Ionia.
Visitation one hour prior to the service.(10AM-11AM)
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ionia County Animal Shelter.
