The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 17, 1953

Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Eckmeter, 72, who died Saturday, were held 
Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Neller funeral home in Portland.  The Rev. Keith 
Avery of the Portland Methodist church officiated.  Interment was in Orleans 
cemetery, Orleans.

Mrs. Eckmeter, who was born in Orleans township on May 8, 1880, had lived in 
Orleans and Ionia.  She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Antcliff of 
Orleans township.
