Mr. Eddington died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000 in Grand Rapids. He was born on Jan. 1 1933, to William and Anna Marie Eddington. After graduating from Aquinas, Dave began a career in education. He was a school superintendent at Luther, Bloomingdale, Leslie and Ionia and ended his career as principal and basketball coach at St. Mary’s in Lake Leelanau. He is survived by his wife, Mary; nine children, Jean (Rick) Eddington-Shipman, Sheila (Tom) Moore, Kathy (Rick) Packer, Bill (Sharon) Eddington, Julie Eddington-Marion (Pat) Marion, Mike (Shelley) Eddington, Michelle (Omri) Winterberger, Mary (Mitchell) Sigsworth and Maureen (Jack) Powell; 20 grandchildren, with two more on the way; beloved sister, Diane Wisz; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation is 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Arsulowicz East Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Heart.
