F. Kendrick. Interment took place in the Balcom cemetery. Mr. Eddy died at his home Saturday morning following many weeks of illness. He was born in Berlin Township November 16, 1854. When a young man he was married to Cora Johnson, who died of typhoid fever in 1884, leaving one son, Flint, now a resident of Oregon. In November, 1885, he married Sarah West, who with her two sons, Clarence J. Eddy, of Flint, and Glenn, of Lansing; three grandchildren, and the Oregon son survive. C. J. Haight sang a solo, “Nearer My God to Thee.” Bearers were Emery More, I. L. Cotton, William Stowell, George Harris, Albert Hodges, J. C. Beattie, chosen from the Modern Woodmen lodge.
