The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, June 15, 1960

Howard Eddy, 77, died Tuesday at his home in Berlin township.  He was born 
October 1, 1882.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jennie Thomas of Saranac, and Mrs. 
Esther Surgent of Vassar; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and one 
brother, Robert Eddy of Traverse City.

Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Morris funeral home.  The 
Rev. Glenn McCarty will officiate and burial will be at Saranac cemetery.
