Ionia Sentinel Standard, 11 Mar 1998

Jane Elizabeth Eddy, 82, of Lyons, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 1999, in Grand
Rapids.  She was born Oct. 15, 1916, in Lyons, the daughter of Bernard and Emma
(Weaver) Ross.  She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses who attended Ionia
Congregation.  She loved flowers and the outdoors, and found great enjoyment in
her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Rudy and Claudia Charles of Lyons; daughter, Maurine
Iszler of Ionia; brothers, David Ross of Muskegon, and Richard (Jean) Ross of
Sanford; sisters, Isabelle Rausch of Belding, Mary (Victor) Hull of Ionia; nine
grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her
parents and one sister, Barbara Young.

Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be 1 p.m., Friday, March 12,
at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia, with Mike McLenithan officiating.  Anyone wishing
may make contributions to the World Wide Work of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
