Sherman H. Eddy, 81, of 72 Summit, Saranac, died Tuesday morning at Belding 
Christian Rest home.  Born July 18, 1889, in Saranac he was the son of Mr. and 
Mrs. Dallas Eddy.  He was married in Grand Rapids, April 30, 1925, to Ruth 
Stewart and she died in July of 1970.

was married in Grand Rapids, April 30, 1925, to Ruth Stewart and she died in 
July of 1970.

He had been employed at Fisher Body in Grand Rapids, Hastings, and Lansing many 
years; also Saranac milk company and his last position was at Saranac post 
office as custodian.

He was a member of Odd Fellows lodge and the Rebeccas.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Daller and Mrs. Ruth Jean Olger, both of 
Belding; a son, Warren of Grand Rapids; ten grandchildren and four great 
grandchildren; two brothers, Levi Eddy of Clearwater, Fla., and Stanley of 
Saranac; a sister, Mrs. Marion Leenhount of Rochester, N.Y.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Morris-Roetman funeral home in 
Saranac.  Rev. John Hancock will officiate and interment will be at Saranac 
cemetery.
