Frank Eddy, 90, died at the home of a niece, Mrs. Bert Kimble of Saranac, Sunday
morning, December 9, after a lingering illness.  He had made his home at the
Kimbles for 20 years.

A lifelong resident of Ionia county, he was born in Berlin township January 10,
1861, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peleg Eddy.  At the time of his death he owned a
farm in Berlin township which had been in his family for 100 years.  Eddy was
well-known in harness racing circles.  He was a former member of Berlin Center
Grange.

Services will be conducted by Dr. Paul Stewart Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the
Kimble residence on Church street in Saranac.  Interment will be in Balcom
cemetery.
