Caroline (Carrie) Eddy, 81, of 212 B. St., Portland, died March 3 at her home. 
She was born April 27, 1908 in Portland, the daughter of Lawrence and Emma
Amelia (Yerge) Phillips.

She is survived by two sons, William and Robert, both of Portland; two
daughters, Jennie Weber of Portland and Joan Wimpari of Monroe, Wash.; 13
grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Jarvis of
Portland and Mary Bundy of Battle Creek.

Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Neller Funeral
Home.  Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Neller Funeral, the Rev.
Richard VanLente officiating.  Burial is in Portland Cemetery.  Pallbearers will
be Richard Leik, Richard Hanley, Richard Barnes, Robert Urie, John Dorsky and
Donald Miller.
