Funeral services will be held from the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. Paul L. Stewart, of Ionia, in charge. Interment will be in the Balcom cemetery. Mrs. Eddy was born in Berlin township January 26, 1866 and lived all her life in Ionia county, a part of the time on the farm in Berlin township, five years in Ionia, and the rest of the time in Saranac. She had always been active with the grange and served several years as the lecturer of Pomona grange. She leaves a husband, to whom she was married December 30, 1885, a daughter, Mrs. Bert Kimball of Berlin; a granddaughter, Mrs. Anna Link, of Berlin township; two sisters, Mrs. Millard Mitchell of Ionia, and Mrs. Agnes Cook of Allegan; two brothers, Cyrus Harwood of Detroit and William Harwood of Saranac.
