Stanley G. Eddy, 85, of 147 Church, Saranac, died Saturday at Ionia Manor.  Born
July 3, 1887, in Berlin township he was the son of Dallas and Bertha Ramsette
Eddy.  He was born on the family centennial farm in Berlin township where he
spent his entire life farming until retiring and moving to Saranac in the spring
of 1969.  

He was married in Saranac, December 15, 1917, to Clara Billinger who died April
of 1968.  Surviving are a brother, Levi Eddy of Clearwater, Fla.; sister, Mrs.
Marilyn Leenhouts of Rochester, N.Y.

He was a veteran of World War I, member of American Legion post of Saranac and
lifelong member of Saranac IOOF.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Morris-Roetman funeral home
at Saranac.  Rev. Edwin Mendenhall and Rev. Jess Harris will officiate and
interment will be at Saranac cemetery.
