The funeral will be conducted Sunday afternoon at four o’clock from the residence, Rev. W.K. Spencer officiating. It will be in charge of the Pere Marquette carmen, of whom he was one. He worked in the seat repairing department and was in good health Friday. He was down town at five o’clock when he started for his home at Prairie Creek. When a short distance from there he fell by the roadway, and a few moments later Harvey Jackson came along and found him trying to crawl home. He was carried there, and died within five minutes after being placed on the bed, and while Mrs. Eddy was trying to call help. Dr. Beckwith pronounced it a case of heart disease. The deceased leaves a wife and one daughter. ------------ The funeral for the late Theodore Eddy was held Sunday from the residence on East Main street. Burial was in Highland Park and Rev. W.K. Spencer officiated. The pall bearers were from the carmen’s union of the Pere Marquette shops, of which Mr. Eddy was a member. The singing was by Mrs. Spencer and Mrs. Smith.
