The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, August 20, 1955


Saranac—Mrs. Blanche Eddy, 86, died at Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids 
Friday night.  She had been a patient there for the past ten days with a 
fractured hip.  She was born in Berlin township December 29, 1869 the daughter 
of Clinton and Martha Andrews.

She is survived by one daughter, Mildred Eddy, of Saranac, and one son, Ralph 
at home; two brothers, Ray Andrews of Saranac and Mark Andrews of Ionia; and 
one sister Mrs. Elva Gassney of Portland, Oregon.  Her husband, Gardner, 
passed away June 2, 1932.  She was a member of the Community church of Saranac.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 22, at 2:30 p.m. at the Morris 
funeral home with interment at the Saranac cemetery.
