Robert Treat officiating. Mr. Edgar passed away suddenly at his home at 314 Orchard st. on Thanksgiving morning. Surviving are the wife, Helen; two daughters, Mrs.Nancy Vroman of Portland and Mrs. Zoah Bengel of Westphalia; a son, George Jr. of Saginaw; a step-daughter, Mrs. Jane Thorne of East Liverpool, Ohio; six grandchildren and a brother, James of Florida. The deceased was a retired automobile salesman and a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the American Legion. Burial was in Portland cemetery. Bearers were John Kortes, Herm Schrauben Jr., Albert Vroman, Burr Duffey, Richard Dawdy, Richard Oakes.
