Funeral Services Held Saturday For George Edgar

Services for George C.Edgar, 64, were held at Neller Funeral Home Saturday
afternoon, the Rev. Robert Treat officiating. Mr. Edgar passed away suddenly at his home at 314
Orchard st. on Thanksgiving morning.

Surviving are the wife, Helen; two daughters, Mrs.Nancy Vroman of Portland and Mrs.
Zoah Bengel of Westphalia; a son, George Jr. of Saginaw; a step-daughter, Mrs. Jane
Thorne of East Liverpool, Ohio; six grandchildren and a brother, James of Florida.

The deceased was a retired automobile salesman and a veteran of World War I. He was
a member of the American Legion.

Burial was in Portland cemetery. Bearers were John Kortes, Herm Schrauben Jr.,
Albert Vroman, Burr Duffey, Richard Dawdy, Richard Oakes.
