Jan.31,1974 Mrs. Wilma G. Edlin, 79, of 3360 Potters road, route 3, died at her home early Thursday morning following a short illness. She was along time resident of Easton township. Born in Keene township, Ionia county, November 30, 1894, she was the daughter of Gilbert and Harriet Blough Hawley. December 11, 1912, she was married to Roy Edlin and they made their home on the farm on Potters road. They had lived there 58 years when he preceded her in death March 11, 1971. They had celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1962 She was a member of Easton United Methodist church and it's women's society. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Verburg, at Grandville; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren; two brothers, Fred Hawley of Palmetto, Fla., and twin brother, Willard G. Hawley of Ionia; three sisters, Mrs. Blanch Weber and Mrs. Berinice Grove of Ionia and Mrs. Sarah Redemsky of St. Petersburg, Fla. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 pm at Leddick funeral home, Rev. George Chafee of Easton United Methodist church will officiate and interment will be at Easton cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Easton church. Family will be at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
