Mr. Edlin was taken to Grand Rapids Tuesday in an effort to save his life, but death came after an illness of several weeks for a complication of diseases. Mr. Edlin was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edlin, who reside near the Welch school, and he had spent nearly his entire life in that vicinity. At the time of his death Mr. and Mrs. Edlin and family were living on what is known as the old Herbert Chrysler farm, north of the Dildine corners, in Easton township. Besides his widow, Mr. Edlin is survived by six children, Irene, Charles, Dale, Marjorie, Ethlyn, and Pauline, all at home. He is also survived by his parents, a brother, Roy Edlin, and a sister, Mrs. Roy Perry all of Easton. Another sister, Mrs. Dewey Hammond, lives at Charlotte.
