Blanche L. Edmonds, 83, 448 Liberty, Muir, died Thursday afternoon at home.  She
was born March 11, 1899 in Montcalm County the daughter of Edward and Sarah
Loudenbeck.  She married Ernest Edmonds in 1918, and he died in 1975.  She lived
in Muir for the last 48 years, and was a member of the First Christian Church of
Muir and the Church Ladies Society.

Survivors include one son, David of Muir; one daughter, Agnes Melvin of Muir;
one sister, Cora Howell of Carson City; six grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. from the First Christian Church with
The Rev. Dennie Martin officiating.  Burial will be in the Muir Cemetery.  She
will repose in the Hull Memorial Chapel until noon Monday, and memorial
envelopes for the Church may be left there.
