Belding Banner-News, 14 Sep 1967

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Emma Edmonds, 78, of 704 West
May Street.  Mrs. Edmonds died Friday at Belding Community Hospital following a
lingering illness.  Mrs. Edmonds was born November 9, 1890, in Mecosta County. 
She had been a resident of Belding for 38 years.  Her husband, Earl, preceded
her in death in 1951.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Claudine Davis of Belding and Mrs. Esteline
Hubbard of Harrison; five sons, Cleo, William, Burdette, Alvin and Lester, all
of Belding; three sisters, Mrs. Nora Carl of Perrinton, Mrs. Flossie Egbert of
Edmore, and Mrs. Alice Droskey of Grand Rapids; 25 grandchildren; and 31
great-grandchildren.

The funeral services were from Huffman Funeral Home with Reverend Marvin Moser
officiating.  Interment was in River Ridge Cemetery.  Bearers were Ronnie
Edmonds, Larry Edmonds, John Edmonds, Terry Edmonds, William Edmonds Jr. and
Robert Edmonds.
