Mr. and Mrs. Edwards had been with Mr. Kelley since October at Napoleon. Surviving are the husband, three sons, Frank of Traverse City, Clem of South Haven, and Leo of Ionia; four daughters, Mrs. Mabel Shoemaker of West Branch, Mrs. Theo Belle Shire of Lansing, Mrs. Sada Shuman of Detroit and Mrs. Alyce Fox of Lansing; one sister, Mrs. Florence Arnold of Detroit; one brother, James Kelley, of Napoleon, 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Two children, Grant and Earl, died in infancy. Mrs. Edwards was the daughter of John and Mary Kelley, and after their deaths was reared by Samuel and Elizabeth Kelley. She was married to Lester Edwards in Napoleon, O. in 1891. Mr. and Mrs. Edwards have lived in Ionia the past 40 years, and celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last October 15. Since then they have been at her brother’s home in Napoleon. The body will repose at the home, 643 Lafayette street, from 11:00 o’clock Wednesday morning until 11:00 Thursday morning, when it will be taken to the Myers funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. C. A. Brady at the Myers funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at Highland Park cemetery.
