Raymond W. (Cookie) Edwards, 67, of Orleans died Sept. 2, 1993 at Ionia 
Manor.  Mr. Edwards was born in Ionia on Jan. 28, 1926, the son of Homer and 
Elizabeth (Fox) Edwards.

Surviving are two sons, Michael Edwards and Raymond Edwards Jr., both of 
Ionia; three daughters, Kathleen Simon and Joan Feneis, both of Westphalia, 
and Mary Holcomb of Orleans; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; 
brother, Clarence Edwards of Belding; and three sisters, Jane Rich of Orleans, 
Margaret Moore of Greenville, and Anne Malson of Colorado.  He was preceded in 
death by his wife, Eloise; five children, one granddaughter, three brothers, 
and two sisters.

Services were held Sept. 5 at Shiloh Community Church, with Rev. Kendall 
Harger officiating.  Interment followed at Orleans Cemetery.  Arrangements 
were made by Cook Funeral Home in Ionia.
