The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, February 19, 2008

Michael L. Edwards, of Ionia, age 60, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008.  
He was born on Aug. 19, 1947 in Ionia, Mich. the son of Raymond “Cookie” and 
Eloise (Phelps) Edwards.  Mr. Edwards was a Veteran of Vietnam serving in the 
United States Army.  He loved to fish and tinker with his lawn mower.

He was preceded in death by his parents; twin sisters;, brother and a niece, 
Heather Rae Edwards.  Surviving are his son, Timothy Edwards of Ionia; two 
stepdaughters, Carol Randolph of Florida and Cassandra Petroelje of Grand 
Rapids; grandson, Timothy Edwards II of Ionia; siblings, Kathleen (William) 
Simon of Westphalia, Joan (Richard) Feneis of Portland, Raymond (Katherine) 
Edwards of Fenwick, and Mary (Gary) Holcomb of Orleans and many nieces and 
nephews.

The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008 at the 
Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Iona, MI 48846 with Mike 
McLenithan presiding.
