Ionia Sentinel-Standard, We., Mar 31, 1954
Herbert Evelyn Edwards, 60, of Route 1, Ionia, died Tuesday morning in Blodgett
Hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was born August 5, 1893 in Bushnell township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert
Edwards.  December 29, 1915 he was married to Flora Knaggs and has lived in
Ionia and Montcalm counties all his life where he has been a farmer.

Surviving besides his wife Flora, are five sons, Vere of Lansing, Harold of
Richmond, Mo., Donald of Belding, Keith and Kenneth of Ionia, two daughters,
Mrs. Dorothy McKinley of Orleans and Carol Edwards at home, eleven
grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Blanche Wait of Ionia and one brother, Harry
Edwards of Fenwick.

Mr. Edwards reposes at Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan and funeral services
will be held Thursday at 2 o'clock at the Palo Methodist church with the Rev.
Lewis Herrick officiating. 

Interment will be in Palo cemetery.
