The Belding Banner-News, Thursday, February 13, 1941


Fred L. Edwards, aged 71 years, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, at his home in Bushnell 
township.  Surviving near relatives besides his widow, Roxie, are two sons, 
Robert and William, three daughters, Mrs. Daisy McWilliams of Ithaca, Mrs. 
William Staines of Fenwick and Mrs. Bernice Hammon of Ronald.  There are also 
three grandchildren and one brother, Paul Edwards.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon and burial was in Bushnell 
cemetery.  Mr. Edwards and family were well known and highly respected by the 
Palo people.
