Gerald Dexter Edwards, 74, of Grant, passed away on September 17, 2014 in 
Fremont.  He was born on June 21, 1940 to Leo and Charabelle (Brockway) Edwards 
in Ionia. 

He is survived by two sons, Stuart (Shannon) Edwards, and Richard (Rebecca) 
Edwards; two daughters, Debbie (Dale) Phelps, and Margi (Ron) Edwards; 15 
grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; brother, Ken (Margaret) Edwards; 
sister, Mijj (John) Beckett; daughter-in-law, Julie Edwards.

He was preceded in death by a son, Theodore Edwards, his parents, and brothers, 
Claude, Stan, and Stuart Edwards. 

Services will be held at Harvest Baptist Church on Saturday, September 20, 2014 
at 11 a.m.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 10 a.m.  Burial 
will take place in the Bridgeton Cemetery.
