FRANCES EDWARDS, 82
Frances R. Edwards, age 82, of Ionia, MI., passed away December 17, 2018. She was
born on August 11, 1936 in St. Helens, England the daughter of Joseph and Lillian
(Kinder) Lockhart. She married Lloyd Edwards on October 3, 1952 in England. He passed away in
2008. Frances was proud to have achieved American Citizenship. She loved to play
BINGO and enjoyed 4-H with her grandchildren. She also loved Christmas and was a fantastic
cook.

Surviving are her children Cliff (Connie) Edwards of Ionia. Irene Winter of Ionia,
Karen (Doug) Peabody of Lyons, Lloyd Edwards Jr. of Ionia, Angela (Barry) Stout of Ionia
and Sue (Rich) Ring of Belding; 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and brother  Kevin
(Joyce) Lockhart of England. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd,
brothers and sister-in-law Kenneth (Elsie) Lockhart, Clifford (Millie) Lockhart;
brother-in-law and sister-in-law Mike and Lorraine Edwards.

A graveside service will be held at Palo Cemetery on Friday, December 21st at 3:00
p.m. with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating. Those wishing mey make memorial
contributions towards childhood cancer to Lighthouse Family Retreat Headquarters 4470 Chamblee 
Dunwoody Rd. Suite 200 Atlanta, Ga. 30338. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home
