Lorane Edwards, 78, of Ionia passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at
Sparrow-Ionia Hospital.  Lorane was born on Aug. 21, 1936, in Smyrna, the
daughter of Howard F. and Clara A. (Lockwood) Insley.  She graduated from
Belding High School with the Class of 1954 and had worked at the Ionia County
Commission on Aging.  Lorane was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church,
Belding, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
 She enjoyed reading and cooking.  Lorane will be greatly missed by her family
and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Clyde “Gerry” Francisco
in 1963, her second husband Mike Edwards in 2012 and a sister-in-law, Cathy
Insley in 2010.  Lorane is loved and survived by her children, Clyde and Brenda
Francisco, Shane and Dawn Francisco, Gordon and Carol Francisco all of Ionia,
Dixie Sandborn of Portland, Matt and Tammy Edwards of Ionia, Lynn Edwards of
Eek, Alaska; 16 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; her sisters and
brothers, Charlene and Pete Saladin of Belding, Cheri Insley of California, Jeff
Insley of Smyrna and Robert and Lisa Insley of Belding.

In keeping with her wishes no visitation will take place.  Graveside funeral
services will be 4 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Woodard Lake Cemetery with
Pastor Mike Simmons officiating.  Memorials may be given to Ronald Township
Firemen Fund and may be mailed to Post Office Box 336, Palo, MI 48870 or left at
Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted.
