The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, November 17, 1964


William Michael Egan, 66, retired Ionia State Hospital employee, of route two, 
Sheridan, died Monday evening at 6:35 following a three weeks illness.

He was born August 22, 1898, in Carson City the son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin 
Egan.  His wife, Rose, died October 10, 1947.  He was a member of SS. Peter 
and Paul church and had been employed at Ionia State Hospital 26 years.  
Survivors include several nephews and nieces.

Rosary will be recited at Myers funeral home Wednesday evening at 7:30 and 
Requiem Mass will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at SS. Peter and Paul church with 
Burial at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
