Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 9 May 1935

William Egar, 79, Collins resident, died Wednesday afternoon at 5 o’clock at 
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Hartman, at whose home he had resided for the 
past five years.  Mr. Egar was at one time a partner of L. D. Bugbee and 
operated the general store at Collins.  Following Mrs. Egar’s death five years 
ago he had made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Hartman.  Surviving him is one 
nephew, Roy Pouch, of Portland.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Collins church Friday afternoon at 
2 o’clock with burial at the family lot at Highland Park cemetery at Ionia.
