Egbert, 75, Grandville, died Tuesday afternoon, September 20, at Blodgett Memorial hospital. She was a former pianist and organist in local theaters. She was born in Grand Rapids and resided here until 1953, when she moved to Grandville. Mrs. Egbert was a member and organist of Chapter 381, Order of the Eastern Star, and Rebekah Lodge for 22 years and was a former member of the Palestine Shrine. She enjoyed raising and showing purebred Pekingese dogs. Surviving besides her husband are: two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Helen) Hill of Ionia and Mrs. Ernest B. (Florence) Curren of Grandville; two grandchildren and for great-grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2:00 pm, Friday, September 23, in Arsulowicz Brothers Funeral home. Burial was in the Wyoming Park cemetery.
