Abe Cecil Egner, 48, of 5018 Sayles Road, Saranac died Monday at Butterworth
hospital, Grand Rapids.  He was born in Flint on August 1, 1980 the son of
Arthur and Sadie Smith Egner.  He was an electrician by trade and had lived in
Saranac the past 20 years.  On July 29, 1960, in Lowell he married Marla Raimer.

Survivors include his wife Marla; mother, Mrs. Sadie Egner of Flint; one son,
James Egner at home; two daughters; Lisa at home; Karla Campbell of Flint; four
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Roetman-Lake funeral home,
Saranac with Rev. James Frank officiating.  Burial will be in Saranac cemetery.
 Family will be at the funeral home Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 7-8:30
p.m. to receive friends and relatives.
