Sept. 1, 2018 FLOYD EHLERT, 91 Floyd A. Ehlert, 91, of Orleans, passed away Wednesday evening August 29, 2018 at home under the loving care of his family and Spectrum hospice. Floyd was born on July 20, 1927 near Greenville, the son of Herbert Sr. and Murtle (Schmidt) Ehlert. Floyd married the love of his life Lorna Ruth Heppe on August 15, 1948 in Orleans. He proudly served his country with the US Army during the Korean War from 1951 to 1954. He retired from Electrolux in 1989 after 43 years of service. He was a member of Shiloh Community Church, loved wood working, enjoyed family time and sporting events with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Floyd was very social and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. he will be greatly missed. He is loved and survived by his wife Lorna and their children; Charlene Ruth Lynn of Belding, Cheryl l. (Don) Allen and Dean A. (Cheryl) Ehlert all of Greenville, his grandchildren; Kamie (Andy) Jakeway, Brian (Tara) Lynn, Amber Ramey, Nathan (Margaret) Sherrick, Jennifer (Chris) Orlowski, Holly (Dustin) Hayes, Joshua (Martha) Ehert, Robert (Amber) Petersen and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents two brothers; Herbert and Russell and one granddaughter Amanda Ehlert-Goins. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday September 5, 2018 at Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding and one hour before the service at church. Private committal prayer will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.
