Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Thurs. July 19, 2012

Sally J. Eiler, 71, of Ionia passed away July 17, 2012, surrounded by her 
family after a brief sudden battle with Leukemia. She was born June 7, 1941 in 
Ionia the daughter of Kenneth and Helen (Clark) Loucks. Sally married Jack 
Eilar Dec. 7, 1956.

She loved to travel and bake and she cooked for everyone in the community. She 
loved everyone and was loved by all.

Sally  is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Jack Eilar; children, 
Mark Eilar and Jan Dudas of Eaton Rapids, Connie (John) Renn of Ionia and Lisa 
Eilar of Ionia; mother, Helen Loucks of Ionia; brother, Tom Loucks of Ionia; 
grandchildren, Katherine Eilar of Hastings, Laura (Matt) Wierenga of 
Hudsonville, John Eilar of Plymouth, Megan Eilar of Belding and Mac Lane Renn 
of Ionia; and great grandsons, Landon Eilar and Noland Eilar.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Brian Eilar and Stephen Eilar; brother, 
Jon Loucks; and special aunts, Connie Cook and Shirley Miller.

At her request cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
