Ward E. Eitelbuss, 78, of Portland died Aug. 31, 1992.  He was born in St. 
Johns on Nov. 2, 1913, the son of Ward and Cora (Bunnel) Eitelbuss.  He was a 
resident of Portland for 47 years.  He was formerly employed at Motor Wheel 
for 40 years, retiring in 1974.  He loved to farm, hunt, fish, and trap.

He is survived by his wife, Elinor; one son, Ted (Maria) Eitelbuss of 
California; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.  He was preceded in 
death by his daughter, Donna Lear, in October 1991.

Services were held Sept. 2 at the Gorsline-Runciman Neller Chapel in Portland, 
with the Rev. Jack Eitelbuss of the Colon Church of God officiating.  
Graveside services were held at the Sunny Hill Cemetery in Palo.
