The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, March 22, 1961

Kenneth Eitelbus, 55, of Chicago passed away March 12 at the Masonic home 
there of hepatitis.  He was the first of the 1924 graduating class of Palo 
high school to pass away.  

Funeral services were held at the Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan with his 
son, Rev. Jack Eitelbus officiating and under the auspices of the Malta Lodge 
of Grand Rapids and Pearl Lake Lodge of Sheridan.  Pallbearers were Frank 
Hall, M. A. Seysler, M. A. Berg, Pete Mulder, Dane Chinbloom and Jim Bliem.  
Burial was in the Palo cemetery.  Mrs. Roy Wright of near Sheridan is his 
mother.
