Ionia Sentinel Standard, 25 Jan 1951

Mrs. Foss O. Eldred died at the Ionia Convalescent home at 1:20 p.m. Thursday, 
January 25, after a long illness.  She was admitted to the Ionia County 
Memorial hospital July 24, and remained there as a patient until October 7, 
when she was transferred to the Ionia Convalescent home for care.  Her 
condition had been critical for the past week.  The body was removed to the 
Stone-Kauffman funeral home, where services will be held.

Mr. Eldred is a former state senator and former attorney general of Michigan.  
Her son, Ney, is Ionia county prosecuting attorney.

Surviving are the husband; a son, Ney; two grandsons; and a sister, Mrs. Don F. 
White, all of Ionia.

She was a member of the Ionia Country club and the Order of Eastern Star.
