Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. July 22, 1948

DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Morris Eldridge died Saturday at his farm home northeast of town after an illness of
ten years. He was 78 years old. He had been cared for during his long illness by his
brother and wife Mrs. and Mrs. Emery Eldridge. he came to his late farm home with his parents
from Grattan township where he was born, when he was three years old, and had lived there
75 years.

Mr.Eldridge was a member of the Carr Wesleyan church for 50 years.

Other survivors are another brother Jan Eldridge of Lake Odessa and several nieces
and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Carr church with the Revs: Raymond Durkee
and Glenn Miller officiated.
