Lake Odessa Wave-Times-Fri. March 25, 1921

Susan McNeil was born in Ontario, Canada, November 10, 1842, and died March 13, 1921
at her home in Sebewa.

She came with her parents when a young girl to Orange township and on January 6,
1861, was married to Harry Eldridge who died January 1, 1900. To them seven children were
born; Herbert of Sheridan; Mrs. Emma Bliss, Sheridan; Mrs. Mina Young, Berlin; Lyman of
Grand Rapids; Ira of Los  Angeles, Cal.; Mrs. Lottie Barnard of Grand Rapids, and Mrs.
Alice Bliss, Lansing.

June 22, 1904 she was again married to William Hunt of Sebewa, and he with the
children and twenty grandchildren and many friends are left to mourn the death of a devoted 
mother and a loving.

The dear Lord's best interpreters are humble human souls. The gospel of a life like
her's is more than books or scrolls

the sickness and death of our dear wife and mother, to the minister for his kind words
of sympathy, to the singers, for the beautiful songs and to all those who gave the
beautiful flowers.
