The Ionia Standard, Friday, October 19, 1917
Clifton Eldridge, 28 years old, died Friday at Howell, and was buried Sunday 
afternoon in the Tuttle cemetery.  The body was brought here Saturday evening, 
and the funeral was held Sunday at the LeValley church, Rev. Fisk conducting 
the service.  The bearers were William Olsen, Charles Decker, Merle Pomroy, 
George Pomroy, Burlin White and George Burdick.
