The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, September 24, 1973
Mrs. Lizzie R. Eldridge, 84, died at the home of her daughter in Lansing 
Sunday evening.  Born November 22, 1888, at North Plains township, she was the 
daughter of Simon and Frances Ludwick Dick.  October 17, 1910 she was married 
to Claude Eldridge and he preceded her in death in 1971.  She was a member of 
North Plains Friendship club.

Surviving are three sons, Arthur of Traverse City, Kenneth and Claude Eldridge 
Jr., of Lansing; three daughters, Mrs. Frances Maynard of Lansing, Mrs. Velma 
Howe of DeWitt and Mrs. Alice Parrish of Ionia; ten grandchildren and 19 great 
grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Beatrice Estep of Muir and brother, Howard Dick of 
Muir.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Estep funeral home north of 
Muir.  Interment will be at Tuttle cemetery.  Family will be at the funeral 
home Monday and Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
